Since joining the Ingenium Consulting Group in 2015, Rudy Medrano has been at the heart of the firm’s growth. In his first three years, he helped found and develop the firm’s core due diligence business, and managed many of the corporate projects.

Prior to joining the Ingenium Consulting Group, Rudy Medrano served as a Senior Special Agent with U.S. Department of Homeland Security for over 28 years. He has presided over numerous federal investigations into violations of federal laws and statutes. Rudy Medrano has extensive experience and demonstrated success in long and short term investigations into violations of local, state and federal statutes.

He also was a Special Agent with the U.S. Customs Service prior to its merger into Homeland Security. At Customs he worked with the FBI and DEA on international Cargo Theft Task Forces and Narcotics Interdiction; acquiring specialized skills in air/ship cargo container thefts and internal smuggling conspiracies.

Rudy Medrano has participated in high-profile federal narcotics investigations in both the United States and abroad. He also served as Senior Special Agent with oversight for covert operations and also has personal experience in undercover investigation techniques. He has received extensive undercover, fraud, and firearms and dignitary protection training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) and many state and local agencies.

He has achieved certification as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) by ASIS International.
